Dennis Hopper`s widow is pushed from her house
The Hopper trust - which includes the `Easy Rider` star`s eldest daughter Marin - has submitted documents to Los Angeles County Superior Court to recover possession of the star`s $6 million compound in Venice, California, claiming Victoria Duffy is "wrongfully possessing and withholding control" of the estate.
According to the papers, Victoria - who Dennis was in the process of divorcing when he passed away from prostate cancer in May - has been offered a different home in Brentwood, which she co-owns with the trust, but refused to move.
The administrators say they need to sell the property to pay off the 74-year-old actor`s debts, reports gossip website TMZ.
Dennis - who was married five times during his lifetime - and his wife of 14 years Victoria were embroiled in a bitter divorce battle as he fought the illness.
During the legal dispute, Victoria - who had a seven-year-old daughter, Galen, with the actor - alleged Dennis` three children from previous marriages had turned him against her and wanted her to be cut from his will.
In April, a court gave permission for Victoria to stay in the Venice compound until details of the couple`s divorce was finalised. The actor was also ordered to pay her $8,000 a month in spousal support and $4,000 in child support for Galen.
